Thanks for the news on VLNC's web page. I liked the powerpoint presentation - finally saw a picture of their initial product! The charts they included forecast some tremendous demand for lithium ion cells in the upcoming years.

Next, I hope to see some deals posted. The manufacturing capacity is crucial to an OEM. First, they don't like to single source a component. Look at what the fire in that Japanese factory that made the chip bonding glue did to memory prices a few years ago. Any supply shortage in batteries would limit the number of units an OEM could sell, if they commit to a battery technology. Having the batteries made in Korea and Northern Ireland will be a plus.
