I assume that there was a typo in in your post and you meant to say if those guys [DEC] aren't so good ... I think the point that Michael Dell was clearly making is you don't do business with your competitor if you can help it. When CPQ merged with DEC it dislocated the pre-existing alliances, so other companies will drop alliances with CPQ, not because they are a poor company, but because they now own DEC. Why should Andersen buy hardware from a competitor? TTFN, CTC
