That might be your point. It doesn't change the fact it is a lie. The Democrats were never as obstructive as the Republicans are now. For example, some Republicans have announced that they will block Obama's appointment to Souter's seat because the appointee is too liberal despite the fact that Obama hasn't made an appointment yet. The Democrats never did that. Nothing, will the notable exception of the stimulus package, gets through the Senate unless it is a Republican created bill. That has been true since 2006. The Republicans have set records for bills killed due to filibusters.
