This has nothing to do with learning about computers - that's the whole point. They regard a computer the way they regard a television - just a thing that does some job for them. Win98 does that for them. So does the MAC, but not as well any more. And exactly what is it that MS is insulating her from? Learning about computers? I hope I was clear on that one. I don't care if she ever learns anything about computers as long as she can use them.
