I said precisely what I meant to say "Legalization of drugs only benefits the countries wanting to import them into the USA."

Disagree with you-------we are not talking about prohibiton and beer, liquor and wine.

We are talking about the mind destroying drugs that have devastated so many people----destroying their
minds and their ability to function and their families.

Cocaine, the hallucinatory drugs--------the hard drugs----and marijuana for some.

No it doesn't take the money out of the illegal drugs it simply makes it possible to open up the hard drug stores with one on every street corner or the government owning and running them. The drugs, the ingredients will still be imported-----from the countries who now import them. And, the current criminals may become the local store owner.

I have seen so many people devastated by drugs------here are only three people-----

1. My next door neighbor, a beautiful woman in her 40's when I was a teenager-----she was hooked on cocaine. She died at a bout 50 having been taken to a psych ward and died within a months time for lack of care. The drugs came from Cuba.

2. A friend's son--------ectasey landed him in the emergency room and a psych ward for a month---
taken out of the public school where the drugs were rampant he then got his life together and is functioning
at a good level now

3. Another friend, a model in San Fran--------------drugs destroyed her at a young
age in her 40's-------intelligent, beautiful, but hooked on drugs.

Then there was the truck driver of a big rig high on drugs, who hit a friends car on Route 81 in Va. The police arrested him immediately -------he had already caused another accident in Pennsylvania on the way before coming through Virginia. I hope they put him away for a long time.
