Patricia, I live in Arkansas. So far what I'm hearing is not racial, it's the Islamic connection thing. My local talk radio plus a few letters to the editor in my paper have a lot of crap spiraling off the Hussein middle name and the supposed attendance at an Islamic school. My guess is that the right-wing attack machine in my state will try very hard to avoid injecting race for fear of it arousing a bigger black voter turnout. South Carolina should put fear in the heart of the right. It was fabulous turnout and showed the power of a voter block. I think a Clinton-Obama ticket could actually take back alot of southern states. Obama alone could even do it if he runs a shrewd campaign, has a popular white man runnning with him, and the Clintons can swallow their disappointments and fight the good fight to take back the White House.
