I understand your point. I also agree that investment earnings have to mean something. From my view, MSFT has a P/E somewhere in the 40s, plus I get a great deal of stability from the large investment holdings. Compare that to CSCO's P/E somewhere over 100 (not to diss CSCO, you could pick a number of comparisons)... --Jack
