Here's what John McCain REALLY thinks of veterans... McCain has kicked veterans to the side of the road like road kill... Even though McCain has received veterans health care benefits for years himself, he has voted against at least $172 billion in funding for veterans' health care during his time in Congress, with at least 30 votes against health care for veterans overall. Just two days after the invasion of Iraq, McCain voted against an increase in veterans funding. Mc and Repubs SAY they support the troops, but what does that mean? If they really supported the troops they would end the war and bring them home, not just put bumper stickers on their cars saying "Support the Troops!" the real homeless are those serving the war machine on foreign soil...they are truly homeless...
