Rocky -

Hey, that's not fair. Macs are better. SCSI is better. Don't rub it in.

But my wife's system kicks your system's ass.

Power Computing PowerWave 604, w/NewerTech 200MHz 604E upgrade card
(Know anyone who wants to buy the old 132MHz processor card?)
Mac OS 8.1

SCSI ID 0 - 2.1 GB Micropolis 7200 rpm A/V drive
SCSI ID 2 - HP ScanJet 4C
SCSI ID 3 - Toshiba 12x CD-ROM
SCSI ID 4 - Jaz 1.0 GB
SCSI ID 5 - Zip

She also has 196MB of RAM, with two more DIMM slots open.

This system is fast and stable. In fact, since she got a line-conditioning UPS three weeks ago, it hasn't crashed once. And she's been doing some really heavy duty Photoshop work on massive files, preparing the covers for her next book.

But Rocky, don't feel bad that my wife's system is better than yours. It's also faster than my Frankenstein 2000, with it's lousy 200MHz Pentium MMX. I'm thinking about getting a 233MHz K6 chip to replace that silly Intel thing.
