Lynn- I should have also suggested that you pick up a copy of MacMillan's "Options as a Strategic Investment". shop.barnesandnoble.com If all you are interested in is covered call writing you only need to read a fraction of the 882 pages. It isn't exciting reading (what book on derivatives is?) but I found the explanations to be very clear and the graphs quite helpful.
