When the time is right, maybe turn that event into a teaching moment.....i.e. when she says: " But Dad, EVERYONE is going to (Fill in the Blank....could be Sun Valley, or Crystal, or Hawaii for Spring Break, or Europe, etc etc etc....) The kids try to use propaganda on us, and maybe aren't aware of what propaganda is...... This might give you both ways to point out every day propaganda that some use when they want to have others either 'think as they do' or 'feel like they do' or 'believe as they do'.... You could make a fun game for both of you,. and she will NEVER forget that lesson....
