Rick, I don't mind that e.Schwab is cash upfront. What I hate about e.Schwab is that because of this characteristic, they manually review 50% of trades slowing down such trades dramatically. Two different brokers there told me this and that they feel execution within 5 minutes is adequate execution. I missed several opportunities because of this delay even though I had twice the funds required for the trades. If they automated the verification and executed as fast as they are capable of doing (some trades execute in a few seconds), this complaint would disappear. As a consequence of this, I trade elsewhere.
