The way MRM continues to rise means they will come in with very good earnings. It is funny how "The Street" knows what is going on ahead of time. Personally, I would hold this stock until the earnings announcement and you will probably see a pullback after the earnings release much like last quarter. With the tiny float MRM probably can sustain another five points to the upside by the time of the announcement. If the earnings are a blowout watch out! Regarding my investment style it is very unusual. For the most part I try to reserve most of my portfolio finding undiscovered value stocks much like you but I do reserve a portion to concept stocks without earnings. I also reserve a portion to short-term trading and momentum stocks. Right now we have a very rare incident where almost any cheapie will move on any news and the result is very predictable. I have to take advantage of this opportunity because it does not happen very often. It tends to be more predictable with large cap expensive stocks but I don't have hundreds of thousands to do this. NOTE OF WARNING: This speculation in the past had signaled the end of a bull market. Watch for your indicators such as interest rates. If they rise -watch out especially since the large caps are failing to make new highs and the market volatility has increased. Regarding Nasgovitz, I know him personally and I have talked to him in how to get into the business when I used to live in Milwaukee. I think very much like him and my portfolio had contained stocks that he currently owns such as ICN Pharmaceutical. (I recently sold ICN after the rise into the 50s).
