ACQUISITION OF CLAIMS, LAC VOLANT, SEPT ILES AREA, QUEBEC
Golden Tag Resources Ltd. (the "Company") announces that, subject to regulatory approval, it has acquired a 100% interest in a block of 32 claims located 1.5 km northeast of the territory withdrawn from staking by the Quebec government in the Lac Volant region near Sept Iles, Quebec. Government geologists discovered significant nickel and copper mineralization in gabbros along the western boundary of the Manitou Intrusive Complex. Two mineralized zones returned assays averaging 2% nickel and 2% copper.
The Company's property covers part of the eastern boundary of the same intrusive complex, within a geological environment similar to that found at the discovery. The Company acquired the property for a payment of $10,000 and 50,000 shares. An exploration program is planned which will focus on defining the cause of a large magnetic anomaly cutting across the property.
