Deceptive? The Democrats had access to the same intel that Cheney had. They all voted for the war before they voted against it. Now they're pretending that they were bamboozled.

Railroaded is the more appropriate term. If a Dem congressperson did not vote for the war, they were not a red blooded American. In fact, they were the next thing to a terrorist. You forget how good your guys were in setting a paranoid and threatening atmosphere. After all, they controlled the House, the Senate and the presidency. That doesn't excuse the Dems......they should have held their ground but it wasn't easy ground to hold. Bush/Cheney/Rummie made sure of that.
