I had to look that one up. If only I were 30 yrs younger. Heck, if only I was 50 years younger. On Thursday Ross Perot will be at the current Q Course graduation. He will be dedicating a statue of JFK presenting the Green Beret to Gen Yarborough in 1961 and making it the official headgear of SF. That will be followed by the graduation of the latest Q Course. Q Course is the new name. In '62 it was called Branch Training. I graduated during the Cuban missile crisis in fall 62. The Green Beret was still an unknown then. Thursday evening at a banquet, 4 SFers will be inducted as Distinguished Veterans of the SF Regiment including one of my best A team buddies. I'll be there for the entire day to honor his career. uw
