Tom: Is it not so already?By large/medium size companies using main frame and mini computers? At least this is what I have seen in my experience,I think. I don't think,for example, the accounting software is loaded on to each desktop computers. Could they be talking about'intranet' etc using servers? What I don't understand is how Network computing is different from people already using servers to manage their affairs? How is this any different?
