She mentioned several months ago that she possessed one of those "$1000 beauties" ... the magnificent time pieces they are!! Then again, forget the 3D wristwatch, I'm still waiting for the 3D laptop SGI was hawking in Independence Day... another stellar "box office con" that wrested my coppers I might add. You know something? It's those special effects dd. They hook me like a fish every time. And that Hollywood mob knows exactly -how- to do it don't they? Previews. That's where set their hook with a couple of choice snippets to whet your appetite. So you think... WOW! I GOTTA SEE THAT ONE!!! Then, once you're there it's "UGGHH! THEY GOT ME!! I can't believe I -PAID- to see this crap"!!! And so it goes with "Lost In Space". Yes, go see it dd. Only if to sample the most insidious piece of marketing to be unleashed upon mankind. I figure by the next special effects extravaganza SGI will have their logo tatooed on the foreheads of the entire cast of characters. Hopefully before that happens Mr. Belluzzo & CO will step-in and cease this insulting, counterproductive form of payola marketing run amuck. Let's hope. Mathon Ringo... pass the Raisinets please.
