How does that happen? From what I read it is only two people who are holding us ransom, Manchin and Sinema and mostly Sinema and in both cases it is not about getting reelected, it is about pandering to the wealthy who give them money.

Two people are carrying water for the Republicans. Chris Hays talks about it below.

Regarding moderates in the House: The vote tomorrow will be telling. Some guessing is that about 60 progressive will vote the infrastructure bill down, so will 60 Republicans vote with Pelosi?

That would be my guess.

One thing to keep in mind, is that moderate Democrats are closer to Republicans, than progressives are, in political ideology, and Republicans are completely full of shit!!

There is some food for thought.

Beware of and prioritize this critical nuclear showdown battle over budget and debt primarily with Republicans.

The social media left are distracted in a intra-party snot-throwing match enabling the erosion of Biden and Pelosi's brand; while the minority GOP is effectively shaking us down, as well as risking democracy itself. And I'm not being rhetorical on those last two points.

Democrats need to keep aim on the Republicans and less on purple wiggling Manchin and Sinema. It's a waste of public mindshare and a critical diversion from this full frontal attack of the united GOP minority.

IMHO, like baseball teams, keep our big internal battles inside the clubhouse. Unite to go after the now far-right Republican machine and their complete fascist vision (most here do.) Get the message out to a broader audience.

There is high stakes shit going down in the coming days and so will the US economy if the Republicans succeed in detonating their nuclear extortion bombs over government. During a pandemic, amidst droughts, fires and floods. All hands on deck.
