Yes. He has sold stocks even in recent years.

From the following chart, it's obvious that KO's valuation rose to unsustainable levels in early '98. Wouldn't it have made sense for him to sell when it got out of line, hold the cash, then buy an even larger percentage of the business in the first quarter of 2000 when the KO's bubble burst?

It might have. With such a large volume to buy or sell, he can't get pricing as favorable as you or I. But he has stated repeatedly that there are some businesses he will not sell. At a certain level, it is no longer a business decision.
