Another good post! You are seeing the human tragedy aspects on a micro-level, which will be EXPONENTIALLY increased globally by this time next year.
The information I mentioned that I was going to post- I do not think it would be a good idea as it might/probably would take this thread into a different y2k area, and some posters may not appreciate it being an 'off-topic' even tho a y2k-related posting.
Actually, the consequences of this information posting would be disruptive, due to its staggering impact on the entire society and the upsets some would have upon reading it. Being new on this site, I will look for a more appropriate thread to post it, thus keeping this thread focused on oil/gas, which is AS important as any other sector, altho effects won't be as dramatic, immediate, personally devastating, or apparent(to the public, for awhile) as the grid or water utilities, e.g., going down....
As an aside, it may be noted that I do NOT often use the typical weasel-word 'if', but instead replace that with the far more courageous 'when'.
