Good points. I thought for sure I'd never buy an iPad since I have a new core i3 laptop and core i7 desktop running most of the day already... but yesterday I bought two hand made flutes from a neighbor who is making these in his garage (new silicon valley start-up perhaps). Long story short... he gave me links to sites with sheet music and midi files so I can hear how my feeble attempts should sound... I printed out some of the music but I can easily see how useful having this on an iPad would be, especially if I can save them to a hard or flash drive for when I don't have wifi but want to play, say waiting for wind somewhere... I'll wait for a true multi tasking unit from ABA (ANYONE but Apple) as I don't like how Apple does things... but this is really going to be a growth driver and perhaps save magazines and newspapers.
