Last game being played tonight in Yankee Stadium. It was called "the house that Ruth built" therefore, Babe Ruth's elderly daughter threw a pitch to home plate tonight in tribute to her father and all those who have worn Yankee pinstripes since 1929.

The original stadium will be demolished, but the Yankees will carry on next yr in their new stadium---just across the street.
Some of their most famous players are there to observe the ceremonies--nostalgic night for NYC baseball fans.
