Dave: The more I think about it, the more I believe this INTC "leak" is intended to protect the P4 from Via poaching, and not the coup de grace for RDRAM that our "well intended" adversaries would lead us to believe. INTC is using RMBS as much as RMBS is using INTC (and then some). RMBS is running point on IP. RDRAM pricing will continue to plummet and availability will grow. P4 will launch as RDRAM only. If the INTC ploy works, DDR and PC133 poaching of the P4 (in 2H 2001) will be limited to INTC chipsets and INTC / RDRAM licensees. Just my speculation, BP
