unfortunately , in retrospect, it appears that what supports the junior mining stocks are the combination of hedge funds entering , bigger mines coming in and gobbling up the juniors and big finds, combining the lack of any of this happening and declining metals prices in general combined with the risk off trade and it has not been a good time for this sector. aab.to is one of my largest positions and my portfolio has really taken it on the chin. now the nav has not only been marked down by public valuations but by management decision to mark down how they valued their private investments as well. and the warrant holdings values have been decimated. however eventually i belive the sector will recover and hopefully aab.to will recover with it. in the meantime the dividend of close to 5% means you get paid to wait. i also derive solice from the expectation the deal to sell the gold royalty will close soon meaning that over 1/2 of the companys valuation will be in the form of cash or cash equvalent.
