mike, if we all are judged based on a poor stock pick, i could only hope that my worst performer was like utek ;-) try 90%+ losses on me worst ever :-( i'll go even further. if you don't have some losers in your portfolio then you aren't maximizing the overall return of your portfolio b/c you aren't taking enough risk. just like banks that issue lots of credit cards when they shouldn't. they get more overall profit by being less responsible than they should issuing credit. clearly we all hate losing dough. you must risk some to win as big as possible and if you consistently risk then you will LOSE. maybe bob has a big ego. so what? now if he said to put your whole nest egg in one basket to sooth his ego then i'd be concerned. he didn't. he doesn't. i don't expect him too. good luck. may all our dork moves look as good as utek.
