That's interesting Gina. I thought it was a softball interview, which is why I asked.

It looked to me like the interviewer raised points about current thinking where he knew the subject had different ideas to give him an opportunity to expound while adhering to the interview format.

He didn't really engage with Edelman on any of Edelman's replies to his questions, either, except to bring out another current problem.

I think this is the "tell." Had it been a hostile interview, one where the interviewer were challenging or disagreeing with the subject, the interviewer would have retorted or interrupted him a la Reilly.

I think the questions were setups and the interviewer served as the foil.

Funny the difference in perception.
