I bet that was people who put in a market sell before the stock market opened. You're basically saying 'Hey, Mr. Market Maker, I'll just bend over and I'll trust you not to go too deep....'

And the result: somebody got paid $0.75 for their stock. And the volume was less than 10,000 shares this morning (when the price had already bounced back up to 2 3/8 bid). So it wasn't like there was high volume to drive it down that low either.
