"They aren't. Michael Steele, this morning, said Republicans were calling for one." If true, that would be a switch. They've been pushing back against it for a while. "The Rs don't want a "half-truth" commission." Uh, huh. Sure. "For example, if we're going to release the "torture memos", let's release both sides of the argument and allow the public to see the whole truth." Well, duh i-node. That is what the Democrats have been saying. Try to keep up. So if the Republicans are behind it, then it will happen. Unless this latest uproar means a special prosecutor would be better.
