Microsoft Explorer 99 Conference and Expo To Drill Down on Newest Technologies and Strategies

ATLANTA, Feb. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Microsoft Corporation today announced it is hosting the second annual Microsoft Explorer Conference and Exposition, April 20-22, at AmericasMart, in Atlanta, GA. The three-day conference focuses on Microsoft's latest products and strategies, and how they will impact businesses around the globe.

The program will feature keynote presentations by Orlando Ayala, senior vice president, Microsoft Corporation, Tony Redmond, technical director- worldwide mail and messaging consulting, Compaq Computer Corporation, Mark A. Souza, east region data specialist, Microsoft Corporation, and Dr. Ravi Kalakota, the director of the center for Digital Commerce at Georgia State University. Microsoft employees and executives from leading technology companies will also lead conference sessions.

The new conference agenda is tailored to keep technology professionals informed on the most recent changes and discoveries to enable their companies to gain a competitive advantage. Microsoft executives will lead detailed discussions and answer questions on how they implemented Microsoft solutions within their organizations. This year's conference tracks include: Application Development, Communication and Collaboration, Data Warehousing, Data Analysis, Infrastructure, Internet/Electronic Commerce, Knowledge Management, and Windows Platform.

Pre- and post-show seminars complement the core conference by zeroing in on ecommerce and total cost of ownership (TCO) issues. Seminars include: Electronic Commerce Solutions, April 19; and Lower TCO with Microsoft Terminal Server and WRQ Reflection, April 23.

Running in conjunction with the conference is the Microsoft Explorer 99 Exposition. The floor will be open Wednesday, April 21, 11:00 AM-6:00 PM, and Thursday, April 22, 10:30 AM-4:30 PM.
