Breakeven may have been 14.5 on the upside, but you structured it so that there was serious juice to be had at 18, 19, 20+. Is the technique (straddles) reasonable on stocks without a go/no go decision looming in the future? Your trade was a no lose bet precisely because ABTI would either be a $5 stock or a $18 stock depending on the PIII outcome. What about standard earnings announcements.... or should straddles play their biggest role in small technology/biotech cos? Appreciate the pointers. Ryvers
