I still think the Republican candidate will come out of the "nowhere" fog late this year or early next. That, and Hillary's demise in Iowa, will destroy the last phony credibility of the idea that it's all money. That will also destroy what's left of McCain, and shut the populists up for another 20 years.

The Republicans may still lose, however, by reason of their failing to purge their leadership of the senile and the just plain stupid...
