Japan FTC raids Intel offices

TOKYO (CBS.MW) - Japan's Fair Trade Commission raided the Tokyo offices of Intel's Japanese unit in connection with an investigation into alleged unfair business practices, the agency confirmed Thursday.



























"Intel is suspected of asking personal computer makers to not use other rivals' CPUs," said Masaru Matsuo, the FTC's director of management & planning division. He declined to comment further on the investigation.
