Each analyst will have to do something with the information they received yesterday. Some will adjust down, some up. This is what analysts do. They have to.

However, the rest of us --- normal every day investors --- need to keep in mind extraneous events like Supercomm, coming up next week. I'm not selling one share before that breaks. Even then, I'll only use my trading shares.

There's just too much happening in the industry to want to be out when the news breaks. Case in point: Ciena.
