Hi B.A.

It would be a conflict of interest for me or Steve to advise you on what to buy since we and others own the Ross Stores stock at this time and will be proceeding through a covered call real life case study. In other words, we are not selling anything or giving investment advice. We are describing "How to Write Covered Calls." All three types of investment "opportunities" you stated are appropriate depending on what is your investment objectives. Ex. long term investor, long term with extra income and downside protection, or option trader for in/out speculation & profits.

If you want to write covered calls you will have to own the stock! Hopefully, at least 300 shares or more to keep your commissions reasonable.
