Hi Paul, I'm real happy to see that Intel has decided to stick to slot 1 in the sub 1000 PCs with Covington. For a while there, according to some of the web links provided on this thread, it seemed like they (Intel) were considering cheaper alternatives. My question is, will a sub1000 buyer be able to upgrade from a Covington to more powerful PIIs easily? If so, there are great benefits in choosing the Covington over its socket 7 competitions. Thanks in advance, Shahen Petrosian. P.S. Enjoying the INTC momentum these days. Thanks for your posts, helped me keep cool when the chips were down.
