Yes. All of those S&P 500 index funds (and there are quite a few now), are obligated to buy them. The question is, will profit taking compensate for the "artificial" rise? Likely yes. But how soon, and can we little guys profit from this action? Maybe sell in the morning, buy back in the afternoon. Gary
