When it comes down to it Apple is the biggest user of the PowerPC, but hundreds of other companies use it in other applications from laser printers, networking etc etc. Motorola and IBM have to continue to support the PPC platform to mantain competitive edges in high profile strategic accounts. The PPC with live long.
