The first crook in the Carter Strange attempted murder has been sentenced to 15 years. 'Who is Carter Strange and what happened?' you ask. That's the damned shame of it -- the fact that you have to ask.
Carter Strange, a white 18 year old jogging home, was savagely beaten by a black mob and left for dead. They took his phone, which he would have gladly given up to avoid the beating and subsequent pain of recovery. Was the purpose of the beating a robbery or was the robbery an afterthought? My experience in these matters tells me one thing but you won't hear it from the media.
At the time the typical mainstream news media did their thing and it made just the local news. It wasn't splashed on all news channels, there were no jogging suits worn by politicians protesting the brutal attack, no organized marches with hundreds wearing jogging suits, no special attention, no special prosecutor, and no special charges.
And the media continue to do their thing. Note how the crooks are described as 'boys', as in 'children', and if not for the pictures we'd still have to guess as to the suspects' ethnicity.
Can you imagine the media attention had the roles been reversed?
Damned shame. But keep this incident in mind when the George Zimmerman case goes to court because, again, based on my experience, 'whitey's gonna pay'.
