Thanks for the explanation, it makes sense to me. Seems that the strategy can be to buy a day (or few days) early in anticipation of run up prior to earnings report for a company with excellent earnings record (may be more risk) or wait for corrections/pull backs after the initial excitement following earnings has passed (less risk)

From what I am seeing in your posts, you key on companies with excellent earnings records, and look for prices to cycle down to seven day average levels for the best buying opportunities.

I continue to appreciate all you, Last Shadow and others are doing for those of us who are learning.
