I find my data updates very rapidly when the download process is complete. That suggests that it is an update not a rewrite as scans do

Hey, I guess you are right! Hadn't thought about that but I am notorious for "ASSUMING THINGS". (Just ask Spots :-))

After QP2 updates and hen the process of UPDATING existing MS folders starts, a NEW screen pops up (as it did in QP1). This process is fast but it is slow enough to be rewriting. The puzzling thing is that I will come up with some duplicate symbols in the MS directory with one being updated and one not updated.

Maybe it is a MONTY problem. :-))

Will look at the chart.
