I watch a show on AE called The First 48

The show is a real life documentary into the first 48 hours of a crime investigation. It gets its name from the fact that if investigators don't get a lead within the first 48 hours after a crime has been committed they are unlikely to solve the crime. It is not a sensationalistic show by any stretch. But the one thing that you can't help but notice is the racial makeup of the victims and criminals. Blacks are by far the most common victims and they are almost exclusively victimized by other blacks. I haven't seen one episode yet where there is white on black violence, though I am sure there are some documented by the production. There is some black on white violence, but not as much as one might expect. And there is a fair amount hispanic involved crime as well (both victim and perp).

Statistically the sample is probably not representative, but it is hard to believe that the obvious conclusion shouldn't be reached.

It's also very interesting to see how the "suspects" behave in the interrogation room. The body language of the guilty suspects is incredibly similar. Once I see the suspect pull his or her arms into his/her shirt and hug themselves, you know they are guilty. And they ALWAYS turn on their buddies.
