Bernie and Arnie: Now that Nextel is showing movement, is it bragging time?
I bought and sold MOT for the past two weeks. But dumb Al, at least in some eyes, didn't own it since selling at a profit yesterday. Why, cause I had bad vibes, lower lows and lower highs. You saw what happened today. I just don't believe in owning a $60 stock long term waiting for a rebound. Nor do I want a 26-27 dollar stock trying it's first attempt at the big time.
What people don't know, is that, old dumb Al reads analysts reports, charts, news, SEC reports, company history, and consults a witch doctor before buying a short term investment. Why, because worse case you have to hold the stock and wait for the comeback, make sure it will.
Accounts remind us "always provide for any and all possible losses" and "book gains when they are assured"
Sometimes detailing investment techniques in not interesting reading, so I generalize. However, in that regard, I also like to be light headed. Most of you guys are very good at what you do and your opinions are gratefully accepted, however, I find ED and Ken to be very interesting, no bragging with these guys, just opinions that prove to be more fact than fiction.
Yours truly
Big Al, the brokers pal. (if you're a discount broker, that is)
To me, MOT is blue chip, love the company, it will come back strong |
