Don't you think it was an employee who reported it to the CEO? They probably brief him every day on important posts and points. Also, I would say it would be very important for a CEO to respond to someone saying that their operation is a Mailboxes etc. They don't want people thinking this is a pyramid scam or a chain letter type of a deal.
