declining jobs... declining "unemployment" what is wrong with this picture? what it means is that everyone who has lost his full time high paying job and has now run out of unemployment benefits are taking crummy part time jobs to keep food on the table, thus the unemployment rate is "declining".... technically if you work one hour and draw a paycheck, you are "employed".
