INTC is difficult to classify.

It (and MSFT) are in nearly unique positions of dominance in the information age. Wintel today is like oil and steel were a century ago. For this reason I don't think it makes sense for individuals to attempt to trade them. Just buy and hold and reap the rewards. Dollar-cost average if you're wary of current price levels.

For what it's worth, my guess is INTC won't slow down until after it clears 130. In 1997 it should hit 200. PC price cuts over the past six months (driven by declines in memory costs) are resulting in an explosion in demand, especially internationally. This coupled with the beginning of the corporate upgrade cycle to NT/PPro means that Wintel will rule in '97.
