I suspect there is a story somewhere about how he had to have food stamps while in college.

I wish I could find the story again, but I remember someone talking about kerry bumming a couch to sleep on, and food, and was a lousy tipper , but I cannot find it. But I DO know that until he figured out he had to increase his giving to make himself look presentable, his charitable giving was as bad as Gores.
