Believe this or not, that prospect was originally thought to be a gas play, as oil isn't normally found at 15,000'. Damn the bad luck, they found oil; 1100' oil bearing layer if memory serves me correctly. In Yemen, CanOxy discover fields in their Hadramout play, but a high water content was removed before shipping down the pipeline. They drilled what is known as a water injection well, to re-inject this water. Damn the bad luck, they found more oil!! This after they had done extensive siesmic!!! Yes 31 gravity is high quality. Condensate is also mesure in terms of gravity. 40 is consider high quality. Now on all the published material inthe PR releases and SEC filings do they say there isa sample of oil? There is however mention of natgas and condensate from this blowout. Read carefully and if you can, attend this meeting. I suggest you go in with a neutral stand and ask the tough hard questions.
