The improvement/altruistic model would arise from well-meaning internal sources, whereas the disaster model would come from fifth columnists. Once Marxist seeds were planted here from outside (as far back as 1876 with the Socialist Labor Party), like Kudzu, they began their long, inexorable march to crush the life out of the native born conserative/free marketeers. Along the way, native-born liberals were most susceptible to become the innocent dupes in their nefarious plot.
