I've worked at several large(in fact, the biggest) oil companies and they all use SUNW equipment. Also, given the amount of expensive technical software written specifically for SUNW equipment, they won't change any time soon unless forced to. I also worked at my local electrical utility company for a few months and they used a lot of expensive SUNW equipment. Just a personal anecdote, but SUNW is more than just a supplier for dotcoms and telco companies.
